It's my rat terrier's first birthday and I wanted to give him something special. I picked up grain sweetened carob chips at the local organic food market.

3 dozen (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Combine all ingredients except the carob chips in a mixing bowl. Mix until a stiff dough forms. Place a small part of the dough on a sheet of wax paper. Cover with wax paper and roll out to 1/2" thick. Cut with a cookie cutter (I got a dog biscuit shaped one). Place on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake for 30 minutes. Allow to cool. Place carob chips in bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Stir and return to microwave for 30 seconds at a time until melted. Frost the biscuits with the melted carob.
