    Cook sprouts by either steaming or boiling in water, then drain.

    Saute onion in butter till tender.
  3. 3
    Stir in flour, mustard, and tarragon.
  4. 4
    Cook for a minute.
  5. 5
    Add broth and vinegar and cook again till thick and smooth.
  6. 6
    Pour over sprouts and serve.

    Ohh my this was a great dish love it, made it for Christmas dinner tonight and everyone loved it, I will make this sauce again and add it to other dishes!!

    We both loved this recipe!! the tarragon totally made it--I added more than called for and also used some tarragon vinegar I had around. I actually prepared these by roasting them in a 425 degree oven with a little olive oil before addng the sauce--I much prefer brussels that way over steamed or boiled. Thanks for the terrific recipe!!

    Excellent recipe. I substituted shallots, white wine vinegar and used Dijon mustard. The flavours perfectly complemented the grilled Bratwurst we had.
