Not exactly diet friendly, but so good. Delightful chocolate flavor.

30 brownies (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    Cream shortening and sugars, and add eggs.
  3. 3
    Beat until fluffy.
  4. 4
    Sift together flour, cocoa and salt, and add mixture to shortening mixture.
  5. 5
    Mix well.
  6. 6
    Add vanilla and nuts.
  7. 7
    Pour into a large, greased cake or jelly roll pan.
  8. 8
    Bake for 30 minutes.

    I used an ~11x14 pan, and they came out like a charm. I never knew brownies were so easy. Easier than pouring it out of a $4 box from the store. Thank you.
