Brownie Peanut Butter Cups

Kids love these, uhm so do the adults.

18 cupcakes. (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 (19 1/2 ounce) package rich and moist fudge brownie mix

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 eggs
  • 18 miniature peanut butter cups

Directions

  1. 1
    Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. 2
    Line 18 muffin cups with paper baking cups.
  3. 3
    In a large bowl, combine the dry brownie mix, oil, water and eggs.
  4. 4
    Beat for 50 strokes with a spoon.
  5. 5
    Fill the lined muffin cups 2/3 full.
  6. 6
    Press 1 peanut butter cup into each cup until the top edge of the candy is even with the top of the batter.

    Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until the brownies are set (do not overbake).

    Cool for 10 minutes, then remove from the pans.

    Had lost this "recipe" some time ago, brought back memories to make it again. It is terrifc - a hit with everyone - yum!

    I saw a variation of this recipe on the Food Network's Paula's Homecooking. These were easy, easy to make. I used 1 tablespoon of peanut butter chips in place of the peanut butter cup. My grandkids and hubby loved them. I will definately make these again.

    These were perfect; just what i was looking for. I brought these to my baby shower! lol yes, I brought something to my own shower and got yelled at haha... I just cant go anywhere empty handed! They were a huge hit Everyone loved them! Thanks! I used the mini pb cups
