Too abrasive for my face but an excellent exfoliant for soles, elbows and hands. I used dried lavender flowers for the calendula.

This recipe is wonderful. But I warn of a typo. The 1/2 cup sweet almond extract should be changed to 1/2 cup sweet almond oil. Smells wonderful and leaves skin silky smooth.

me and a friend made jars of this as Christmas gifts (we used baby food jars and printed our own labels). I kept one for myself and used it all up. We added ground coffee to it which made it very invigorating. As with anything, though, warn people to spot test it, because it ended up giving one friend a rash.
