You'll love this fish recipe! I have also made this with other meaty fish fillets too, works well with basa fillets also!

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
    Set oven to broiler heat.
  2. 2
Grease a broiler pan, then line with foil and grease the foil slightly.
  3. 3
In a small bowl mix together Parmesan cheese, butter, mayo, lemon juice and garlic.
  4. 4
Add in all the remaining seasonings and salt if using; mix well and set aside.
  5. 5
Arrange the fillets in a single layer on the prepared pan (you sprinkle salt on fish but it is not necessary).
  6. 6
Broil a few inches from the heat for about 2-3 minutes.
  7. 7
Turn the fish over and broil a couple minutes more.
  8. 8
Remove from oven and cover them with the Parmesan mixture on the top side only.
  9. 9
Return to oven and broil for about 2 minutes more or until the topping is browned and the fish flakes easily (do not overcook the fish!).

My 4 fillets were pretty thin so I halved the recipe. I also spread the mixture on the fillets and baked at 375 for 14 minutes as directed on the pkg of tilapia and then broiled the last few minutes. I loved this and will definitely make again. Thanks.

This was fabulous. Our daughter is allergic to egg so I substituted sour cream for the mayo. I also grilled it in foil instead of broiling. The fish had a wonderful flavor and we all really enjoyed it. I will make this again. Thanks for a great recipe.

Absolutely the best!!! We are on a low carb diet..and this was perfect. I did not have Tilapia, therefore substituted Mahi Mahi. Instead of under the broiler I cooked in a preheated 400 oven , with the sauce on the fish for 10 minutes, and then put on mid-shelf under the broiler for 5 mins. PERFECT
