Definitely wait to put the cheese on- it doesn't need to bake as long as the crust.

Fantastic! Boy did my family love this. I had to change a few things to suit the ingredients I had on hand. I didn't have crescent dough so I used refrigerated canned biscuits and pressed them flat to fit a 9 X 13 glass pan. On half the pizza I used sausage and topped with colby jack and on the other half I used bacon, diced tomato and pepper jack cheese. It still took only 15 min at 400 degrees to bake perfectly. I let it set up for 5 minutes and topped each sliced square with some fresh grated parmesan. My family licked their plates and asked for it again next weekend. I have tried a few breakfast pizza recipes, and most are too "eggy" but this one was perfect. Thank you for sharing!
