I made one batch, tried it & then doubled it & took it to a get together! The second batch had a sour lime in it! What huge difference between the batches!! TIP: Just take a quick taste of your limes before blending in! Also, it helped to use a pitcher with a bit of a strainer by the pour (not so fine you eliminate the zest but something to temper the blended pulp). Still everybody enjoyed this. I will definitely make this super simple refreshing summer drink again. The sweetened condensed milk was key - I would like to try this method with lemons as well. Thanks for sharing! Loved it. Reminds me of a similar drink my grandmother used to make, but with an avacado. I didn't use as much sugar since the condensed milk is sweet already.

This was okay. A friend actually recommended it as one of their favorites. It didn't do much for us but we were just way to intrigued by the method not to try. I was hoping for more flavor. Maybe we added too much ice. We assumed we were going for a margarita type consistency. Also, I had to take half out of the blender to add the ice because the blender was way too full. Update: After trying the leftover lemonade poured over ice we liked it a lot better. I'm sure it's just a matter of personal preference. We'll be making this again but just as a regular drink, not an icy one.
