These I make my request of my sis Lydia. Her favorite! I've also use walnuts. The food processor make this so very easy!

12 -24 balls (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Place wafers and pecans in food processor and pulse till crumbly.
  2. 2
    Add remaining ingredients and pulse till smooth.
  3. 3
    Shape into balls about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. 4
    Roll in powdered sugar and chill.
  5. 5
    This mixture is sticky, so keep finger and palms of hands dusted with sugar while shaping cookies.
  6. 6
    It helps if hands and kitchen is cool.

    What a great recipe! I used the food processor to chop the pecans and the cookies and the just threw everything on top and pulsed till it came together. Used a small ice cream scoopto ball the cookies and they turned out perfect, no sticky or any other problems.

    very quick and easy to make, and tasted great! i used a 12 oz box of vanilla wafers, and rum, i got 36 rum balls, which i divided and put into gift bags. i think my co-workers will love these!
