A copycat recipe that's really tasty!

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Mix first 4 ingredients together and warm them in small pan until honey is thinned.
  2. 2
    Arrange 4 chicken breast halves skin-side up in a 9" square baking dish sprayed with vegetable oil.
  3. 3
    Bake uncovered at 400'F.
  4. 4
    about 35-40 minutes, basting pieces in the marinade without turning them, every 8-10 minutes or until nicely browned.

    Remove from the oven, seal the dish in foil and let stand 10-15 minutes.

    Serves 4.

Sorry. I followed this recipe perfectly. It does not taste or even look like Boston Market chicken. The marinade did not stay on the chicken and I wound up with an oily marinade in the bottom of the baking dish.

    This was tasty for me. I followed LauraTracey's recommention and added her seasonings. I used breast halves with the bone and it was good. Going into the keeper file.

    I added thyme, cayenne pepper, garlic powder and onion powder to the mix (I read another "boston market" recipe that included these ingredients). Everyone at the table loved the chicken!!! I had made two kinds, this and an italian marinade... no one touched the italian! This chicken browns very nicely! Delicious!

    This was very easy to make. I made it exactly as stated in the recipe and found that the flavor of the sauce didn't really stick to the chicken. Maybe if it was marinated a bit before baking.
