Bok Choy Stir-Fry

Recipe #83770 | 20 min | 10 min prep | add private note

By: Manda
Feb 12, 2004

This is a wonderful side dish for an Asian style entree. Bok choy has a wonderful, crisp texture that is reminiscent of celery. You can easily add shrimp or chicken to make a main dish, but I recommend doubling the sauce if you do so. Simple and yummy

I'd love to give this a higher rating, but it was way sweeter than I had anticipated. I enjoyed the flavor combination, but found there was a bit too much sauce. Next time I'd definitely add double the bok choy, hopefully thatd even things out.

Excellent! Great pepper, ginger and garlic flavor. I used 3 garlic cloves and found medium high heat worked better. Don't worry about doubling the sauce. You can probably use twice the amount of bok choy. Add some mushrooms and serve over rice for a meatless meal.

Yum! A healthy, easy Asian dish. I served this along with asian-marinated and then broiled salmon, and used Gay's Green Onion Pancakes as an appy. I also upped the heat to med-high, and I also threw in lots more (fresh) ginger and added in lots of snow peas! thanks for posting!
