This is another discovery in my quest to find non-alcoholic cocktails and mocktails to serve my guests at New Year. It packs a rather sweet punch. It looks a bit like red wine, so I am going to serve it in red wine glasses.

SERVES 1 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup blueberry juice
  • 1 cup ginger ale
  • 2 tablespoons grenadine

Directions

I took this to a potluck and it had mixed reviews. For myself, I wasn't too keen on the blueberry juice and the ginger ale, and it was okay.

Had this at lunch with the kids but used only a tiny dribble of grenadine as it was sweet enough. Broke out the Canada Dry ginger ale for this one! Refreshing and oh-so-Canadian!

I made this and not having all the blueberry juice, I used some cranberry juice too. Yum! Thanks Sarah! Made for ZWT4 and the Fancy Feinschmeckers!

Great looking, great tasting, AND, I liked the way you serve it! Just heard of what I believe is a new fruit juice blend ~ blueberry & cranberry ~ & might try that another time! Thanks for sharing your recipe! [Made & reviewed while touring Canada on Zaar's World Tour 4]
