This is so easy and good. I got this recipe years ago from a magazine. I want to say it was Sunset, but not sure now. If you like Caesar salad, this is quick to make and tastes great.

SERVES 7 -10 , 1 1/4 c (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
In blender add egg, cheese, lemon juice, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  2. 2
    Blend until combined.
  3. 3
Remove top and with blender on, on lowest speed, gradually add oil in thin stream until thick and creamy.
  4. 4
Pour into jar, cover and refrigerate 1 hours or up to 5 days. Let stand at room temperature 15 minutes before serving.

I noticed people were saying it is not a good consistency, well, you just have to keep blending and adding more olive oil until it is thicker. Mine turned out perfect, i have been using your recipe as a base for other sauces like I added pesto to it and it was beautiful on pan fried salmon I cooked tonight. Thanks connie427 for submitting this recipe!

The flavor was missing something & the texture was strange.

This was a snap. And just delicious. The only change I made was to omit the salt and add anchovy paste.

Great dressing recipe, the only change I would make is to add a tbs (or two) of dijon mustard for a little kick! Thanks for posting!
