This is a nice variation on hummus, and I like the addition of ginger. As a matter of fact, I added half again as much ginger and cumin. I also followed a suggestion by a previous reviewer and add some of the bean liquid, as mine was very thick. Served with pita chips. Made for Fall 2008 PAC.

    I'm a hummous lover from a way back and this was good! The secret little ingredient was the ginger. Next time, I'm going to try using fresh ginger for the ground and see what happens to my air passages. I love renditions of traditional hummous recipes and this one was placed in the permanent file. I would suggest reserving some of the bean liquid for help in blending. Thanks, Sandi!
