this is a great recipe! i changed a couple things: i used 1 cup whole wheat flour, 1 cup white. i also exchanged the sugar for 2 tbsp honey. then i patted it out into a rectangle on the pan provided with my toaster oven, cut it into 9, and baked in the toaster oven for 12 minutes at 425. let them cool, then tore them apart. this made it a lot quicker and they tasted great! thanks!

Made it on a rainy day and my boyfriend came home after a long day and gobbled it all up. I made some adjustments, used half and half for milk since I had some that was about to expire and added basil, rosemary and some shredded medium cheddar cheese- they turned out perfect. Thank you so much!

These were the best biscuits I have ever made. I was interested since I had never had biscuits with that much sugar in them and also made with butter. They just had a hint of sweetness and were the most moist biscuits I have ever eaten. I usually find that most biscuits are a little dry...but not these. My dough was on the sticky side...but I didn't want to ruin the texture so instead of adding flour and rolling the dough to cut them out...I simply took a handfull of dough and patted it with my palm onto the cooky sheet. I would not make them in any other way...they made 9 nice large biscuits puffs. Terrific recipe!!!

I make biscuits like this — recipe is close to the same. Instead of bothering with a "biscuit cutter" for round biscuits I pat the dough out into a rectangle and cut them into squares. Delish.
