This is the best marinade I've ever had. You can jar this, and give it as gifts, too!

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Mix marinade in a zip loc bag, and place 4 pork chops in the bag.
  2. 2
Marinade for at least 2 hours, I sometimes even marinade them overnight for more flavor.

This unlikely marriage of ingredients made a wonderful, but short-lived life for my center-cut pork chops. I was intrigued by the assortment listed, so I had to try it. Plus, I totally trusted ladyfingers opinion! Excellent and will definitely be using this again! Thanks Holly!

What an odd combination of ingredients, but boy, do they work well together. The cajun seasoning gives off a subtle smoky flavor. And unlike marinades using soy sauce or sweeteners, neither is a predominant taste. Instead, it is more like something you'd imagine from a fine restaurant. We loved this, and you can be sure it will be made again and again. Since I only had three pork chops, I halved the ingredients. That covered them very well. Thanks so much, Holly, for sharing.
