Always soft and high, this is my old stand by. Great brown or white, grab your butter and have a bite. OK, so I'm a better cook than poet. Still, it's great bread.

The taste of this bread was just wonderful!!!I made the dough in my breadmaker, and i made it with 2 cups white bread flour and 1 cup whole wheat. The only reason i'm giving this a 4* rating is because, there was no basic time given for the rise time after it was put in the loaf pan,so I let it rise in a warm place for about 40 minutes. And another reason for my rating is there was no temperature given to bake it,so I baked it at 350º for about 40 minutes. To make slicing easier, I froze the bread for about 1 hour and used my electric knife and it made the prettiest even slices.Thank you so much for posting, this bread will be made again.

Delicious soft, light 1-1/2 loaf. I cheated and added an egg. This one is a keeper.
