Beefy Salsa Macaroni and Velveeta Cheese

This is from Velveeta. Although I'm not a huge fan of Velveeta, my family adores this, and it really is good.

SERVES 6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    Brown meat in large skillet. Drain.

    Add salsa and water. Bring to boil.
  3. 3
    Stir in macaroni.

    Reduce heat; cover. Simmer 8-10 minutes, or until macaroni is tender.

    Stir in Velveeta until melted.

    Very good quick meal and all in one pot! I doubled the recipe and added green onion and red bell pepper that I had to use up while browning the ground turkey. DD likes her food a bit on the spicy side so added chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, and some chili powder to her portion. That was also good, this is a very versatile recipe! Thank you Charmie777, this will be a family favorite!

    This was good. We needed to adjust the spices a bit and add salt and pepper to keep the blandness away. I’m sure if I had my game day hat on I would have taken care of the flavors before they went out to the dinner table. The only pasta I had on hand was rotini whole wheat so that’s what I used. I think this is a good recipe and VERY easy to do. It really has everything in it that you need to have a balanced meal it seems…lol! Thanks for sharing this! I will be trying this again!!
