My daughters and I enjoyed using this inexpensive hair treatment, we used rooibos tea, since that's what we drink, and afterwards we put the used tealeaves on the roses, since they seem to benefit from tealeaves in the soil (or so my dad always told me, and he grew wonderful roses). We'll go on using this for long-term benefit!

I used regular orange pekoe tea. This left my hair feeling so clean it could be my imagination but it feels like it helped to get rid of product build up. I did add a touch of conditioner to the ends ( i have longish hair) since I was afraid if I didn't it would be hard to comb out LOL I don't think I needed it LOL I think I will have a bottle of this in the bathroom to use every few hair washes. Made for I recommend tag feb 2009

hmmm, I'm giving it 5 stars even though I do variations on this...I tried it as stated and was like- ok-but preferred making a tea solution with loose tea and using a tea ball...lazy girl I guess but works better for me and I can play with blends...hey extra hints here for those w/ any interest camomile work well with light hair to brighten...rooibos for red tones , black for dark ...also herbs can be added for scent, or holistic therapy bennies ...I have been doing tea rinses a lot of late...I do not use shampoo or product on my hair and usually do the tea rinse about once a week right now after a good water wash and sometimes a coconut oil treatment...I never "comb" it through my hair unless you mean finger comb...that's how I "style" my hair as well (fingers)-no heat no sharp objects it is working well for me...liking the results just fine...I L-O-V-E bringing a pot of tea into the tubby with me ...some for sipping some for rinsing

Didn't really notice anything special about this - other than it stripped some of the residue off my hair, so that was a plus. Definitely make sure the tea is a little warm or you'll be in for a cold surprise. lol. Thanks for posting! Made for I Recommend Tag Game.
