This is a delicious basic sauce - did add some red pepper flakes and some Tabasco as it was missing some spices. Made a double batch and froze some for later use. Thanks!

A great sauce and one of our favorites. The butter and olive oil give the sauce a little something extra. We liked very much. I did add a little dash of Marsala wine too.

This was really yummy. I used a good brand of tomato sauce that has onion and roasted garlic in it, more than a pinch of pepper flakes, and I added 1 1/2 cups of water to the ingredients as I always intended to simmer it for about twice the time you suggested sleepy. I would say it was one of the nicest spaghetti sauces we've made and reviewed, (but it's similar to the way we often make it so I guess it has to be good )
