4.5! This was good. I used a bit of vanilla run butter flavoring as well. Be sure and use right away or it will get sticky.

This was good but I used sugar substitute which gave it such a heavy molasses flavor.Loved the consistency though at first it was really runny but after letting it get cold it turned out just right.Will try again thanks.

Yummy! This was so easy to put together and soooo good. My hubby and I both definitely prefered this to store bought syrup. I added a little bit of rum extract along with the vanilla...yum! Thanks for posting!

Thanks Barb, you saved my butt! I promised to make the kids pancakes this morning before I realized that I didn't have enough syrup. It's snowing like crazy and I didn't want to venture out to the store so I searched Recipezaar and found your syrup recipe. It was very good and still warm when we ate it. I put the rest in the fridge for next time. I may not ever buy store syrup again.
