By: Bri22
Mar 1, 2004

I just watched Barefoot Contessa and she made a romantic breakfast for dinner for her husband....I have posted the other things she made which are Barefoot Contessa's Challah French Toast, Barefoot Contessa's Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, and recipe 85451. She also made sausage links which I'm sure everyone knows how to cook in a pan ;>

Super easy recipe with excellent results - Golden outside and still moist inside. I rinsed the diced potatoes in cold water to prevent discoloring.Paper towel dried them and then fried over med high heat ThanksBri22 it a keeper

Just made Ina's hash browns. Good. Be careful with the salt. Tasty but should be done not on medium low like she says for 20 minutes, should be higher. I only had problem of pan getting pretty messy. (An all-clad stainless steel 4 quart saute pan). Has to be soaked. Used 1 to 2 tablespoon chopped green onion and Italian flat parsley at end. I used 4 big potatoes and 1 big onion. Be very careful that you don't put too much butter. Linda
