The perfect muffin recipe. Will keep this (I used 1/2 WWheat flour/ 1/2 White) and 1 c of oats, 1/2 c walnuts. Very good.

I loved these! Although I must say that the way I made them didn't really please any of us--I added only 1/2 c chocolate chips (all that was left in the bag), and DS didn't like them (he dislikes banana, so they weren't chocolatey enough to disguise it). I did like them okay with the chocolate, but I LOVED the bites without chips. Next time I'll make them just for me, without any chips. The banana flavor really shone, and they had a perfect texture--nice and moist, with just a hint of sugary crunchiness on the top. Thanks so much for posting, Lt. Ducky!
