Banana-Mango Batidos

This is a Latin American version of a smoothie. They're often made with milk, ice, and tropical fruit. From Go Bananans!

SERVES 2 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 small ripe banana, diced (I use frozen banana slices)
  • 1 cup ripe mango, chunks
  • 1 cup ice-cold milk
  • 3 ice cubes

Directions

  1. 1
    Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.

    Pour into 2 stemmed glasses.

Sooo Good! I used frozen banana and 1 cup fat free french vanilla yogurt in place of the milk. Thanks for the recipe.

    Great batido! Nixed the ice cubes since we used frozen mango. Delicious and will be made again. Made for ZWT 4

    This was good and the kids liked it. I made it with Almond Milk instead of milk and only put in a couple ice cubes. I think I should have put in more ice. Thanks for the treat! Reviewed for ZWT4.
