Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Recipe #82829 | 35 min | 15 min prep | add private note

By: Judy from Hawaii
Feb 2, 2004

These are the muffins that my teenagers request. I brought them to the airport when my son came home for winter break, at his request. One Christmas I gave baskets with a variety of muffins to co-workers & they liked these the best too, so it's not just a kid recipe.

18 muffins (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Combine eggs, sugar, milk & bananas.
  2. 2
Combine flour, baking soda & baking powder & add to wet mixture, mixing thoroughly.
  3. 3
Add butter & finally the chocolate chips.
  4. 4
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

These were really tasty muffins. I loved them straight out of the oven when the chocolate was still melted. Thanks!

Excellent muffins! I made 12 large muffins-my pan was filled to the top but they didn't run over. They were beautiful! Lovely texture, and so easy to mix up. The only thing I did different, besides overfill my pan, was to stir the baking soda and baking powder into the flour before adding.

Moist & yummy! Even better the next day. I followed the recipe but added a little vanilla in with the wet ingredients. I only made 12 of these also. Easy to mix up, Thanks Judy, I will be making these again!
