Banana Bread

My husband makes this every other week with our leftover bananas. Good for loaf pan or muffin tin. He will often add maple or rum flavoring, if the mood strikes him. There are other entries on this site that are very close, but not exactly like this, and my handwritten recipe is falling apart.

SERVES 6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
    Mash the bananas.
  2. 2
    Cream margarine and sugar.
  3. 3
    Add eggs and mix well.
  4. 4
    Add bananas and mix well.
  5. 5
Add biscuit mix and mix well.
  6. 6
It will be lumpy, but that's ok.
  7. 7
    Pour in greased loaf pan
  8. 8
    Bake 350 for 45-60 minutes.
  9. 9
    Muffin tin takes 30-45 minutes.

I followed the recipe exactly and it came out great! So full of flavor, and so simple to make. I was looking for an easy recipe with everything I had on hand, and this fit that perfectly. Thanks for a great recipe.

This was so good and so easy! 5 stars for the ease of the recipe and 5 stars for the fact that even my "I hate bananas" 14 year old ate 3 pieces and declared her newfound love of banana bread! LOL! I was truly amazed at how moist and flavorful this bread was using Bisquick and just 2 bananas. The crust was perfect with just a slight "crunch" to it. This is a definite Keeper in my house. Thank you for sharing!
