Excellent Mac & Cheese. Mine didn't seem to be as creamy as those shown in the photo, but it tasted great. I might add additional cheese the next time I make this. The kids I'm making this for should really like it. thanks Karen for a keeper.

A very good recipe for basic baked macaroni and cheese like my Grandmother and Mom used to make. Thanks for sharing your yummy recipe Karen 67!

Hello Karen67, your macaroni and cheese was superb! We made it with penne rigatta, combination of sharp and mild cheddar, and grated onions. For color we used chopped parsley. Thank you for posting such a delicious and "comforting" recipe, Diane :=)

Karen, this is a mac and cheese just like my mom used to make us when we were kids!! First time making it without butter - and it turned out great!! Thanks Karen!! Used low-fat mozzarella (ran out of cheddar...)!!
