Baked Chicken

It's simple and easy. It's actually one of the first dinners I actually cooked that didn't come pre-assembled. Great for beginners, it's pretty hard to screw it up

SERVES 2 -6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 lb)  whole chickens

  • seasoning
  • Pam cooking spray (or similar product)
  • aluminum foil

Directions

  1. 1
    Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. 2
    Remove insides from whole chicken.
  3. 3
    Rinse in sink with warm water, pat dry with paper towels.
  4. 4
    Season, if desired.
  5. 5
    Spray pan and foil with Pam, or similar product.
  6. 6
    Place chicken in pan, breast up.
  7. 7
    Cover pan with foil.
  8. 8
    Bake for 20 minutes per pound. (ie 3 lb chicken cooks for 1 hr).
