I found this recipe on another site when I was looking to use up some leftover smoked gouda. It's very flavorful, easy enough for weekenights yet perfect for a dinner party too.

Oh my goodness-I loved this and my husband did, too! We both agreed it should get five stars. I normally don't try things if it doesn't have a rating, but I had some bacon and smoked gouda I needed to use and I am so glad I tried it! It has just the right amount of spice, a great mix of flavors and it's surprisingly moist!! The only thing I did different was marinate the chicken in a little red wine before I cooked it and then I also used three slices of bacon per breast. I pre-cooked the bacon a little on one side and wrapped that side around the chicken so the uncooked side was exposed to brown in the frying pan. I also left a little of the fat from after I cooked the bacon to brown the bacon wrapped chicken in, but I don't even think that's necessary. Thanks for a super easy and delicious recipe!
