Asparagus in Hazelnut Butter Sauce

A very simple but elegant vegetable side dish. Works especially well with beef.

SERVES 4 -6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Preheat oven to 400°F.

    Arrange asparagus in casserole dish.
  3. 3
    Sprinkle with hazelnuts.
  4. 4
    (Toss a bit to be sure nuts are evenly distributed.) Top randomly with pats of butter.

    Bake for 30- 45 minutes.

I didn't know how to cook fresh aspargus. I used a little olive oil with a smaller amount of butter on top. I thought it was very simple and tasted wonderful.
