A Rachael Ray March 2007 recipe. The martini is a beautiful blue color and it states that the recipe was adapted from ArcLight Cinemas.

SERVES 1 , 1 martini (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the rum, blue curaçao, juice and Sprite.
  2. 2
Shake, and strain into a chilled martini glass.
  3. 3
Garnish with the cherry (it's pretty on the bottom of the glass).

This was lovely & tropical but very sweet even for a big ol sweet tooth like me.. I ended up adding a little mineral water to mellow the sweeetness a bit but still very much enjoyed. Thanks JB!

Yummy!! Loved the fruitiness of this and it fit just right into my humid friday night plans! LOL. I was able to make this into two drinks, not that I shared, but I did have to go back for seconds! Thanks for a great martini!!

This is so good I am going to the liquor store this weekend to get more Blue Curacao and will make this with the proper cherries and pineapple juice. Then it should be the correct color. This is so tropical and yummy! Mine was a blue green though for some reason. I didn't have red maraschino's and used lime infused cherries, they are green. After it turned blue green I looked at what I thought was pineapple juice and it was pineapple nectar. ugh! Maybe that was it? Either way, this is one tasty drink! I would have made another to see if that was the reason but I am now out of Blue Curacao. Darn. Now I have to go to the liquor store! cool! Thanks January Bride! Made for Bevy Tag

This drink had a great taste from the coconut, pineaple and orange (from blue curacao). But it was a bit too sweet. Maybe with club soda it will be less sweet. Cause Sprite is a bit sweet. Thanks JB. Made for Beverage tag.
