I love the sweet and tangy flavors of chutney. They are great served with cheese and crackers, or they add a wonderful flavor to chicken or tuna salad.

Say 'chutney' & I'm willing to look at it! Say 'apricot' as well, & I'm hooked! Followed the recipe right on down on this one (pretty much!), finely mincing the onion, using dark raisins & a generous teaspoon of zest! Combined with cream cheese & a nice variety of crackers, & this chutney was gone in no time! ABSOLUETLY NICE! Thanks for sharing a great recipe! I enjoy cream cheese spread on crackers and this chutney was a nice addition. Didnt have fresh ginger on hand so I used powdered and a granny smith apple. Next time I will use onion powder instead of fresh onion as I didnt care for the pieces of onion in the chutney. Will try this soon with grilled pork chops or chicken breast. Thank you Bayhill for posting this recipe! (Made and reviewed for Pick A Chef 2007)
