Oh! This is soooo yummy! Just made it, it's hot out of the oven, and wonderful. Yes, it could be less sweet, but it's still a keeper by me! I made it as per the recipe this time. Next time I may try it with less sugar. We'll see... I don't eat sweet things on a regular basis (like once every couple of weeks or more), so when I get a taste for them, I make them & eat em! I know my family will love it. They are all in bed now.

WOW! This is unbelievably delicious! I doubled the recipe and baked it in a 9x13 dish. It baked into a cake-like layered apple dish that cuts nicely into squares for serving. Wonderful and so easy — thanks for sharing Oolala!

This recipe is why I love recipezaar! I had 3 apples to use so I searched under ingredients and this came up! This torte is so fast and easy. I forgot to peel the apples, oh well, more color and fiber. I also used whole wheat pastry flour. It smelled so wonderful while baking and it turned out great! Thanks for a super recipe!!
