Ooohhhh, this is decadent in the best way possible! So fruity, yet an apple pie taste that is simply out-of-this world; I'd happily eat it for a summer dessert. I omitted the ice cubes, instead using a frozen banana, and the consistency was frosty and perfect. A couple tips: There's no need whatsoever for the extra Tbsp. of sugar. Also, this makes a huge amount and easily serves two, or it would, if I wasn't greedy enough to keep it all to myself This one will be a regular start to my morning! Thanks!

All morning I've been telling the kids, "As American as Apple Pie Smoothie!" But, they don't laugh...oh, well. Made for Cafe Comfort.

This was delicious! Tasted and smelled just like apple pie! I had to make a couple changes though b/c I didn't have yogurt. I used a half a cup of vanilla soymilk instead and omitted the apple juice so that it wouldn't be too watery. Still had a wonderfully smooth consistency and cut down on some of the calories. Will definitely try it with yogurt next time and see how that turns out.

Interestingly Good! I had everything in the blender except the applesauce and then opened it and saw it was moldy...sooo...I peeled and chopped a granny smith apple and it worked great! This really does have an apple pie taste which made it kinda hard for me to drink for some reason...a sipper smoothie. Thanks for the experience! Made for the Zaar Stars tag game.
