These were deliciously lemony and nicely balanced between chewy and tender. Couldn't wait for a plate — we snatched them off the grill and ate them right then and there! (Especially the crunchy tips.)

I really enjoyed this recipe and it was a great flavor combination. I used frozen baby octopus and at the time I didn't have any hot chili sauce so used some ground dried chili mixed with the oil. I served with some stir-fry vegtables cooked in hoisin sauce and it was very good indeed!

These are fantastic! I had a package of 8, frozen, baby octopus and made this exactly as written, cooking them on my outdoor grill. Very nice flavor from the hot chili sauce, but not too hot, and a subtle smoky flavor from the grill. I cut them up after grilling and we're eating them with chopsticks! Thanks for the recipe Jewelies, I'll be doing this one again for sure.

Yum Jewelies - this is a great recipe. I served this as part of a seafood meal and we enjoyed these little fellow a lot. Next time I will take over the bbq as Doug overcooked them a bit - I don't think they should have been crunchy on the edges.
