I've made these four or five times now and each time they are excellent. I added a little chili powder to give the sauce a kick and thickened the sauce on the stovetop to use for dipping. I even made this for my birthday dinner along with corn on the cob and it made turning a year older much nicer.

These were good, but not a big hit in our family. Wonder if browning the ribs first would have made a difference.

These were wonderful! I didn't have time to use the crockpot so I did them on the stove top on a low heat. It took about 2 hours to cook them, but watch them close the last 1/2 hour of cooking. The maple and applesauce turned into a thick syrup that coated the ribs nicely and even was a little crispy in some places. Very sticky, but very yummy.

These are fantastic! Very juicy & tender, and the maple syrup isn't overpowering. I highly recommend! -Mary
