These are so good I can't believe I made them!

SERVES 14 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Cream margarine, sugar and mix well.
  2. 2
    Add egg and mix.
  3. 3
    Combine dry ingredients; add alternately with milk.
  4. 4
    Fill greased muffin tins half full and bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350ºF.
  5. 5
    TOPPING: Remove doughnuts from pan immediately.
  6. 6
    Dip or toss in melted margarine, then into cinnamon-sugar mixture.

It tastes a little bit like doughnuts. I used cinnamon instead of nutmeg. For me it has the texture of muffins. I reduced the sugar a little bit. I used butter to dip them. Thanks Dreamgoddess Made for Zaar Star game.

    mmmmmmmm....because im a vegan i used 1/4 cup pumpkin instead of the egg, almond milk to replace the milk, and soy butter for the margarine; it was still very delicious

    These were light and fluffy and ohhhh so good! I followed the directions, but used butter instead of margarine. I also used fresh grated nutmeg. I baked them in a special doughnut shaped pan and got six large doughnuts! Thank you Dreamgoddess for a great recipe!

    Wow!!These doughnuts-muffins are absolutely delicious. Very easy to make and I made them exactly as posted. They were moist inside and crisp on the outside. I will definitely make them again. thank you for posting!
