It tastes a little bit like doughnuts. I used cinnamon instead of nutmeg. For me it has the texture of muffins. I reduced the sugar a little bit. I used butter to dip them. Thanks Dreamgoddess

mmmmmmmm....because im a vegan i used 1/4 cup pumpkin instead of the egg, almond milk to replace the milk, and soy butter for the margarine; it was still very delicious

These were light and fluffy and ohhhh so good! I followed the directions, but used butter instead of margarine. I also used fresh grated nutmeg. I baked them in a special doughnut shaped pan and got six large doughnuts! Thank you Dreamgoddess for a great recipe!

Wow!!These doughnuts-muffins are absolutely delicious. Very easy to make and I made them exactly as posted. They were moist inside and crisp on the outside. I will definitely make them again. thank you for posting!
