Broccoli Salad

Recipe #9714 | 30 min | 30 min prep | add private note

This is a great salad recipe that I got from a co-worker. Everyone asks for the recipe and there is usually none left over. Tastes even better the next day.

SERVES 8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Dressing

Directions

  1. 1
    Toss all ingredients together.
  2. 2
Pour mixed and chilled dressing over and toss again.
  3. 3
I like to put the mandarin oranges on last, after the dressing, so they don't break up too much.
  4. 4
I sort of fold them in gently when serving.

I love this super-salad,the combination of different tastes is so good.I have used fresh oranges or clementines and was very nice too.I can eat this 3 days on a row without getting tired. My husband, picky with anything green, eats this without complaining. Thanks MegFisher!

Terrific! I made it for a family reunion and it was a huge hit. I used cashews instead of walnuts. I will try sunflower seeds next time.

Yum! This was absolutely delicious. I was skeptical about the bacon bits, but they made the salad taste soooo good! I blanched the broccoli for a few seconds before mixing up the salad and I used low fat mayo and it was perfect. Thanks!

This recipe has accompanied many a delicious meal in my home. From BBQ Ribs to Easter Dinner, we have never been disappointed. I used dried fruits found next to raisins at the grocery store, and sunflower seeds instead of walnuts. For color i have also used grape tomatoes. Thank you for sharing this phenomenal recipe!
