Theses are quite nice for a guilt free chocolate fix. I brought the fat and sugars down even more by using 3TBS of sugar in a 3/4 cup measuring cup and filling the rest with Splenda (I made a half recipe and cut that into 16 pieces). The yogurt was fat free, unsweetened applesauce and the syrup was No Sugar Added imitation maple. The applesauce flavor does come through but that doesn't mean that it's bad. I think that the coffee could be quite a bit stronger (I used leftover morning coffee). All in all, considering the very low fat and sugar in mine, I found this to be a welcome treat. I should perhaps add that I'm well used to very low fat foods. Made for Photo Tag.

I'm having a really hard time rating these. They have the very applesauce-y taste and the texture of numerous other fat free baked goods I have made before. (And the taste and texture that makes my husband say "ah.. fat free, huh?" after one bite without having been told.) So I don't think this is the right brownie to make for someone who you are trying to convert to a lower fat lifestyle. But for those of us who have adjusted to the taste some (like my kids), it was a decent snack. This is somewhere between a 3 and a 4 for me. Not bad but probably not something I'll make again. Thanks for one to try though!
