Frozen Bloody Mary

This is from the August 2004 issue of Martha Stewart Living. These taste like a traditional bloody mary, but add a frosty chill that is great for hot summer days. You can adjust the seasonings to suit your tastes.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
  2. 2
If you don't have small ice cubes, place some large cubes in a baggie and crush with a rolling pin or hammer.
  3. 3
The smaller ice cubes do blend better.

A neat easy recipe that goes together quickly and helps use up estra summer tomatoes. I read the other review about spices and agreed, so I added a bunch of lemon pepper and it kicked up.

I made these as soon as I saw them in Martha and they are quite good. Not very spicy, so if you like a hot one, you'll have to add some more in. But, they are nice and refreshing for cooking out.
