Recipe #94669 | 3¼ hours | 15 min prep | SERVES 16 (Change Servings)

RECIPE BY: Mercy

This recipe comes from Fleischmann's yeast company. It is delicious with honey butter and would make a great loaf of raisin bread!

This was lovely with butter...I used a whole packet of yeast and it worked well. I think I'll also add raisins next time. Thanks for posting the recipe!

I used the medium crust color setting. we didn't have any cloves, I added nutmeg in it's place. Also instead of regular milk I used powdered buttermilk, that I added water to. The bread turned out really well. It tasted great to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

My family enjoyed this bread very much. It rose nice and high, and smelled wonderful while baking. It made fantastic toast, sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. Next time, I think I would like to try adding raisins, I think they would be perfect with this bread. If I have any of this bread left, I think I'll try to make bread pudding with it. I think it would work very well. Thank you for sharing this delicious, simple recipe...it is definitely a keeper!!
