RECIPE BY: ladypit

I found this in a pamphlet from the orchard (about Maryland apple orchards) a few years ago when we were picking apples. It is one of the tastiest things I have ever made!

This was a very good homecooked type meal. Loved the apple, cinnamon, brown sugar flavor.

Just my style--nice and easy. I did leave the peel on the apples and used sliced boneless pork loin. DH and DS loved them. Thanks for posting.

Delicious! I made these a few months ago and forgot to post a review. "When your memory goes, forget it." Sorry about that. I browned the chops Ghee (it has a very high smoke point) in a cast iron skillet. I removed them and kept them warm as I did steps 6 through 10 in the same skillet. I did cut the cinnamon to 1/4 teaspoon, I don't care for too much cinnamon with cooked apples, just personal taste. Thanx for posting this great recipe. Pierre
