I just came up with this one after basing it off several recipes. I had 2 use up some extra banana and was in the mood for cookies and chocolate, and a healthier alternative. These fit that bill and taste great, like a chocolate covered banana!!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray cookie sheets w/non-stick spray (like PAM) Combine first 3 ingred.
  2. 2
    with a mixer until creamy.
  3. 3
Add bananas, eggs and vanilla; mix until throughly combined.
  4. 4
In a seperate bowl combine flour (s), baking soda and pudding.
  5. 5
Gradually add the flour mix into the wet mix.
  6. 6
    Fold-in chocolate chips.
  7. 7
Drop by tablespoons onto cookie sheets and bake for 8-10 min.
  8. 8
or until bottoms are a slight brown.
  9. 9
    Cool on wire racks.

I've made cake like cookies before and loved them, but these were not what I was expecting, almost like a muffin, the texture just was'nt there for me. If your looking for a cookie recipe this is not one I would try.

These turned out really good. They are definately "cake" like cookies so if you don't like that you won't like them. I used the vanilla pudding(I thought I had banana and found I did not) and they turned out fine. The banana flavor would have been stronger with that. This makes a lot of cookies...I got 45 good sized cookies. Will definately make again.

Very tasty way to use up bananas. I used sugar free pudding but everything else as directed. I wish I had thought of it before I baked but this would be good with half peanut butter chips and half choc chips too! Next time! Thanks!!
