This was a simple dessert to prepare. I opted to use pears, which was great. I didn't add any spices, but may try a bit of cinnamon mixed in the the dry ingredients. Thanks for posting Kathy-Lynn

Wow! This was the BEST to our family! I did not make any changes. The water really kept the apples from drying out and upon setting for a short while, my filling was the perfect thickness. I grew up eating apple crisp without cinnamon so I prefer it this way. We used apples that we had just picked from the orchard. Thanks Kathy-Lynn! Roxygirl

Not bad I liked it alot. I didn't have ice cream or cream next time that will make it perfect. It was good to eat for breakfast too.

This was quick and easy, made it in a Corningware casserole dish (without the cover). Though the casserole was full to the top, it did not run over. I used Splenda in place of sugar and it was fine. Served it warm with ice cream (leftovers for breakfast tomorrow). Ended up sprinkling cinnamon on the dessert. Next time will add spice to the dry ingredients or sprinkle over apples before topping with the dry ingredients. Will make this again.
