This was great!! And can it get any easier? I particularly liked the fact that the five-spice powder wasn't overwhelming — it gave lots of flavor, but didn't punch you in the mouth with anise. (In other words, it was a good amount.) I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts, and they cooked BEAUTIFULLY — not at all dry. My husband really liked the way the chicken came out. I'll definitely make this again — thanks for posting!

I really like hoisin sauce, and I thought these turned out well. I loved the sticky crunchy skin on the chicken. Mine looked more like NoraMarie's photo than ~Leslie~'s. I used all thighs, and served with Garlicky Green Beans With Mushrooms.

Simple and low fat! I used 4 skinless boneless chicken breasts, baked for 28 minutes. Served with steamed broccoli and had a delicious healthy meal. thanks!

After a long day at work, I wanted something quick and easy to make and still be tasty. This was it! I used boneless chicken breast instead of drumsticks/thighs. I cooked up some frozen vegetables and I was done. The sauce was wonderfully sweet. Thanks Evie* !
