wow, yumbo scrumbo. what a fab recipe although i must admit i left out the shrooms and olives as my boyfriend doesn't care for them but added diced green pepper and jalapenos instead. great recipe, easy and best of all...very little washing up!

I had some leftover grilled chicken planks from a restaurant that I wanted to use up. So I skipped the marinating and frying and just cut the chicken up. I didn't really bother to measure, since I was sure I had the incorrect amount of chicken and just eyeballed the proportions of the rest of the ingredients. I was able to fit everything into a 10" deep dish pie plate. Since I was in a hurry to get dinner on the table I didn't bother to add the toppings of tomatoes, lettuce and onions. The kids don't like any of those anyway. Final verdict, I loved it. I didn't give it 5 stars though since I actually skipped a few steps and am not sure how it would have tasted with the Dale sauce. In any case I enjoyed it, thanks for the recipe.

Everyone liked this...except I have no idea what 'dale sauce' is (going to have to check that out) but based on the suggestion I used a Knorr sesame marinade I had in the pantry...requires sturdy chips as directed cause it is a lot to load on..next time I may try grinding the meat very coarsely or serve it over tortilla chips and provide huge spoons!

Very nice. We all enjoyed this for dinner last night. My tortilla chips needed to be thicker, because this is heavy, but other than that, it was perfect. Thanks for posting.
