I just love this sandwich. Thanksgiving is just not the same if I don't have one. I love it on fresh white bread. Makes my mouth water just thinking about having one.

Hi Boca Pat, am so embarassed was going through some recipes and I found yours, where I had made a note on 09/26/06 to write a review and tell you how much we all enjoyed your sandwich, even thoguh we ate it in Sept. We usually have turkey every six weeks or so and I just forgot please forgive me! OOPPS! Made it just as posted but we added the gravy in which I soaked the bread (got that from Friends) and made it open faced! Thank you so much for posting, will be using it again, Diane

I really love this sandwich too, but in my family we always had it on whole wheat bread.
