This was a great recipe, i lovede the flavor, it had jut the right amout of smokiness. I had someone pick up the brisket for me. And the only thing the store had was "corned beef brisket". And found out that, thats means that the brisket is soaked in brine. So i soaked it in water for 2 hrs changing the water every 30min. Then I marinated it overnight. The 3lb brisket cooked in olny 2 1/2 hrs on 200F because my oven is extremly hot. It was still tender. Thanks for the recipe. ~Chris~

I really did think this was tender. The only quam I have about this one is it tastes a little too peppery.

This was great. My whole family gave it a 5. I served it with gravy made from the juices and over whole wheat spaghetti. I substituted real celery for celery seed and did without the liquid smoke because I didn't have any. I also put it into the crock pot and slow cooked it ALL day on low. About 8 hours. It was wonderful. Thank you.

I only marinaded this for 3 hours and baked it for 5 hours. It is delicious. The next day, I shredded the leftovers and added barbecue sauce. I will make this again.
