Easy No-Fail Chocolate Fudge (No Thermometor)

I have made this many times it's an wonderful easy fudge to make and no a candy thermometer needed, this is rich so a small piece goes a long way, this freezes well

SERVES 49 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    Line a 8-inch square pan with foil.
  2. 2
    In a heavy-duty sauce pan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt; bring to a full rolling boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.

    Boil stirring constantly for 4-5 minutes (this must be timed nothing less than 4 minutes!).

    Remove from heat; stir in the marshmallows, chocolate chips and vanilla, stirring vigorously until marshmallows are completely dissolves.

    Stir in nuts.
  6. 6
    Pour mixture into prepared foil-lined pan.
  7. 7
    Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
  8. 8
    Lift from pan (with foil) remove foil; cut in squares.

What a wonderful fudge recipe!! Oh sooooo easy to make and deeeelicious!! This is the first fudge recipe that I have succesfully made good fudge from. If you're looking for a great fudge recipe then look no further, 'cause this is the one!! Thanks KITTENCAL for sharing a super recipe!!

    Very nice fudge. It was so quick and easy to make. I'll be making this again. It was rich, thick and very creamy. Just the way we like it. Thanks for sharing Kitten.

    GREAT FUDGE! absolutely astounding! forget the candy thermometer and all that hastle, its not nessicary. Also, with all the different kinds of toll house chips the flavors you can make are endless! Why bother with any other fudge when this one is sooo good and soooo easy to make?
