Every region can claim pot roast roots and I believe my southern roots have grown even deeper. As a matter of fact I think they're now what I like to call platinum blonde. Made for Alphabet Soup.

Delish!! The only changes were to omit the basil/oregano (personal preference added red wine and let it marinade overnight, I also used bone-in chuck steaks/browned and braised and added veggies toward the end. Thanks for the recipe it's a keeper.

Wonderful crock pot recipe for roast. I used a chuck roast, added all the spices and put it in my crock pot to cook. The roast was so juicy and tender that it was almost falling apart by itself. The spices really added to the roast. I served it with a salad and green beans for a wonderful dinner. Great recipe. Thanks for posting it. Adopted for PAC April 2008.
